Best Hospitality and Hospitality Management Schools in the World for 2022

Detailed Results and Methodology: CEOWORLD magazine surveyed 185,000 graduates, industry professionals, employers and recruiters in 96 territories between November 15, 2021 and February 22, 2022. Ten percent of interviews were conducted by phone, 82% online and 8% by mail or in person. All quantitative interviews were conducted on a confidential basis, without relying on institutional data submissions. The research was undertaken by CEOWORLD Research magazine, our global center of excellence for primary research and evidence-based consulting services. To compile our list, we collected information and statistics from publicly available sources, research and surveys. Participants were asked to rate institutions on a scale of 1 “marginal” to 100 “exceptional” or “don’t know”.

The rankings are based on seven major quality and reputation indicators. The overall score (100%) is the sum of:

1. Perceived influence of global brands (20%)
2. Responses from recruiters (20%)
3. Feedback from employers (10%)
4. Placement rate (10%)
5. Admission Eligibility (10%)
6. Specialization (10%)
7. Academic reputation (20%)

However, this is by no means an exhaustive list, while the above institutions are CEOWORLD magazine’s “Best Hospitality and Hospitality Management Schools in the World for 2022”, there may be many other hospitality management schools that offer excellent programs. This ranking should not be considered the most important aspect when choosing a hotel management school, and is just one thing to consider.

The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 185,000 respondents is plus or minus 1.2 percentage points. In addition to sampling error, keep in mind that, as in all survey research, there are possible sources of error, such as coverage, nonresponse, and measurement error. , which could affect the results.

Not all figures add up to 100% due to rounding and exclusion of “neither/nor” and “don’t know” responses from the table. Base for global figures is 185,000 (global respondents), unless otherwise stated. All responses are kept confidential to allow survey participants to share their views in a respectful, truthful, impartial and collegial manner.
